This was the best day, yes the best day. The ambience might be the best, but when you get behind close doors and the magical hands are laid on you!! Omg screammm heaven! From the body scrub, to the wrap, body wash, and jet wash! Everything was amazing! I relaxed in the sauna room until my time was ready. You won't regret it!! … Date of experience: February 2020 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States 72 contributions 6 helpful votes I have enjoyed myself so much that I am going back to this super hot and relaxing Russian spa. Service and Facilities There were some teething problems with service during my stay just after the hotel opened, but the overall operation will hopefully become smoother in time. A request for a later turn-down was met with a haughty response, and a request for tonic water to be delivered to my room proved unnecessarily difficult. Service in the restaurant, however, was excellent; spa therapists were also spot-on. Try either the Lava Shell Massage for a marine twist on the hot stone classic, or the ESPA Life-Saving Back Treatment, which incorporates both massage and exfoliation. Spa facilities comprise a pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam room and relaxation room; plus a gym. Parking Restaurant Bar Laundry Room service Pool Sauna Spa Wi-Fi Fitness centre Steam room/hammam Rooms Rooms come in four categories - Standard Double, Deluxe Double, Deluxe Suite or Marina View Suite. All have the same amenities - water views, complimentary sherry and gin, White Company toiletries, Nespresso machines and bedside plug/USB sockets - and differ only in size, but even Standard Doubles are perfectly roomy.

Walls are a soothing pale blue/grey, and the same eye-catching décor as elsewhere continues, with Fifties-style desks, and fashionable prints in gentle primary colours on chairs and scatter cushions. Marble bathrooms have either shower-over-tub or walk-in rain shower (or both). Rooms with terraces and loungers are a boon in fine weather. Food and Drink The Jetty is already establishing itself as one of the best places to eat in the city. My starter of octopus carpaccio (£9. 50) was velvety and flavoursome, while a main of cod with a crab and herb crust (£19. 50) had a perfect crisp bite and tender follow. Desserts include an inventive take on an ice cream dropped in (edible) sand. The wine pairing offer, at just £20 extra for a large glass with each course, offers outstanding value, and recommendations are on-point. The bar area at Jetty is great for a digestif, but before dinner, head up to Harbar for a good choice of cocktails and sunset views. Breakfast is a good spread of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit and juices, meats and cheeses, smoked salmon, and excellent pastries.
